Our History
This is where the magic started in 2018 in Nairobi, when the founder of Green-Kenta David Mulo, applied to play university football in the US but failed to make it to the US due to complications with the application at the very last minute.
He decided to focus his anger on not making it to the university by training young people in the informal settlement to play football and dream bigger than what they saw daily in their communities.
The academy is not your typical youth academy as it was built independently from a dream that never came to pass. From that humble beginning, Green-Kenya Football Academy was born. The academy trains young players from the age of 5 - 20 years
Donhom Academy was established in 2020 just before COVID-19 struck the whole world and the academy had to halt its operation for almost 2 years. It has since defied all odds to become one of the best academies in Eastlands The academy is based at Epren School.

- Beginner Level (Ages 6-10):

About G-K Football academy
Green-Kenya Academy “Ambassadors” is a professional Football Academy in Kenya, established in 2017 and registered in 204 and affiliated with the Kenya Football Federation, Nairobi West Branch. The Academy is located in buruburu and conducts its Football programmes at St Joseph International School DIM in phase 2 and Epren academy in Donholm. G-K Football academy provides comprehensive training for young players, Under 5 to 18 years, who are committed to improving their Football and life skills, in a safe and conducive environment.
Training program - Green-Kenya Football academy coaching runs weekly (on Saturday morning from 8:00am - 12:30pm and 2:00pm - 4:00pm and Sunday afternoon), and 3 times a week when the schools are closed from 8am - 1pm. The coaching sessions are programmed to meet every player’s skill level. Our training Sessions are conducted by professional coaches who are trained to Coach in a fun way
Training sessions are structured to fit in with school calendar. The sessions are normally split in age groups, with each group session lasting for about 2 hours.

In communities where G-K work, earning a spot in the youth league is always a huge success for Children.
Sponsor a team in our academy Green-Kenya Football Academy is an ideal way for supporters to engage with youth in the community, and we would like you to be part of this dream.
We have 5 teams, with a total of 150 Children, and are currently in need of sponsorships
It currently takes $10,000 to fully sponsor 1 team of 25 kids for a year of soccer, education, health initiatives, and community projects. This is a fun, simple, and effective way for children to grow into leaders, both on and off the field. Half-sponsorships and player sponsorships are also much appreciated.
